My Grocery Store serves as an alternate approach to tackling food deserts, while balancing mental health by creating healthier food alternatives in underserved communities throughout America. As a practical, viable, sustainable and holistic solution designed to eradicate food deserts in any location it is initiated, the solution addresses the barriers and mindsets by turning them into opportunities.

The mission of My Grocery Store is to create balance between the mind, body, and soul of individuals from the perspective of mindfully making healthy choices through the food you eat, understanding how what you eat impacts the body and mind, and even the individual on a soul level.
While many underserved neighborhoods are considered food deserts, knowing the problem isn’t enough. MGS seeks to eradicate food deserts in a systematic fashion as partnering grocery stores, local governments, medical professionals, non-profits, and more, mobilize for the benefit of the whole community. By facilitating new methods of providing access to healthier options and opening up the food supply chain and incorporating local farms, MGS can generate a series of habitual behaviors that can aid future generations.
